Vijaya Rao

Ms. Vijaya Rao is the Director of the International Collaboration Office (ICO) at SingHealth and Deputy Director of the Clinical Health Systems Programme at SDGHI. With a Master’s Degree in Social Work and Health Administration, she brings over 25 years of experience in healthcare policy, community healthcare management, and social services. Her expertise lies in strategic service development, step-down care, and geriatric services. She has pioneered case management services from hospitals to communities, implemented nationwide in Singapore.

Ms. Rao actively contributes to national workgroups on elder care and workforce redevelopment and engages in WHO programs addressing mental health. She also plays a vital role in regional healthcare strategic development, fostering strong collaborations with government bodies, ministries, and public and private stakeholders across the region.
